A Movie For Every Day of the Week

Personally, I go for the same stuff most critics go for:

Sunday: Groundhog Day...perfect to cheer me up when I'm depressed about going to school
Monday: Taxi Drive...gets me in a more intellectual mood
Tuesday: Forrest Gump...seeing as it's on every Tuesday on TNT
Wednesday: Rain Man...yeah, definitely
Thursday: Raiders of the Lost Ark...time to get into that awesome weekend mood
Friday: Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King...my only chance to stay up late enough
Saturday: It's a Wonderful Life...my favorite movie EVER!

So...how about you all?

It’s a Wonderful Life.. ehh.. isn’t that movie a little anti-Semetic?

Well I don’t have movies for each day, why would that matter.

But movies I could watch any day of the week would have to be The Darjeeling Limited, No Country for Old Men, Pulp Fiction, Garden State, Sixteen Candles, Ghost, Star Wars.

Those are my favorites I think.

Wes Anderson is so Wes Anderson-y.

Do you seriously have time for a movie every single say or is this if you had to watch a movie every day this is what you’d watch?

I get tired of seeing movies.

I don’t have the attention span to watch movies. I’m done after the first 15 minutes.

I love movies… some of my favourites:

Monday: The Big Lebowski
Tuesday: Garden State
Wednesday: Trainspotting
Thursday: Donnie Darko
Friday: Natural Born Killers
Saturday: American History X
Sunday: Oldboy

Nice choices Russell7 + jackht27.

Deciding which movies is the hardest part…

SCHINDLER’S LIST. schindler’s list. schindler’s list.

Excellent choices indeed. Garden State might be my favorite movie, and Oldboy is close. For the rest, I’d add Kids, Down by Law, Reservoir Dogs, Elephant, and Clerks.

I just figured this would be a little more interesting than “What are your ten favorite movies?” or something like that.

I don’t think It’s a Wonderful Life is anti-semitic…I’m Jewish and have no problem w/ it. It’s just told from a Christian point of view.

And that’s “Taxi Driver” not “Taxi Drive” :)

OKgirl…it’s totally hypothetical. “If you had to watch the same rotation of movies, one each day of the week, every week, what would it be?”

imaparasite, why do you think “It’s a Wonderful Life” is anti-Semitic? I’ve never picked up any of thatl.

I can’t get enough of Chow Yun-Fat, Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li (their early Chinese movies at least.)

Seems you really like Chinese actors.

You’d want to be depressed every single day of the week?

Sunday:The Bourne Identity/Supremacy/Ultimatum
Monday:Caddyshack
Tuesday:Batman
Wednesday:Cool Runnings
Thursday:Three Kings
Friday:Se7en
Saturday:Shawshank Redemption

Se7en…REALLY good choice. I love David Fincher (Se7en, Panic Room, Zodiac).

Seven was so overrated. Ooh, Gwyneth Paltrow’s head in a box, ooh.

American History X was really good. I forgot to mentioned that one, so good call Russell7.

Thursday:Nacho Libre…the day just before friday needs something random hence watch Nacho Libre
