This was one of the best short videos I've ever seen. You have to see this if you foster any positive feelings for Cornell!

It’s a very good video. Someone introduced in another topic and it got great reception.

Old post and what Islander said.
Good to watch it again, though.

I seriously almost cried when I saw this, am I the only one?

Nope. Not at all.

I love that President Skorton used some of these words at the graduation. These guys did such an amazing job! I did’nt attend Cornell but my kids did and yes…I cried when I saw this.

Recommend this video to all who were admitted to Cornell ED [Congrats!], and to those who are considering applying [Just do it!] Captures Cornell beautifully.

omg this is actually incredible! so excited :)

The video is a product of 2 Cornell seniors.

this video is amazing! it’s a great way to capture that moment of reflection you have when you’re leaving school.

Think this video merits a bump to the first page!

This video makes me want high school to end now so o can enter Cornell already

I actually cried…

Wow. The video was great ;)

Skorton heavily quoted the film at my graduation this year. I doubt the video can have much meaning for people who aren’t seniors. I recommend saving it and waiting until your senior year to re-watch it. Then you’ll be able to connect each scene to your own memories at Cornell, and that’s why the video is truly special. For example, the reflection of your first frat party will likely change from freshman to senior year, and how that reflection changes will depend whether or not you went Greek, who your closest friends ended up becoming, etc. 3am food runs your freshman year might be alcohol related food binges, whereas senior year might be study breaks (or vice-versa).

^I agree, I’m a junior, not a senior, but I don’t think I would have appreciated the video nearly as much without having experienced at least a couple of years at school. I saw it when it first was put up at the end of last year, and I really connected with it, but I think the best part is how each time you watch it, as the years progress, it just gets better.

I watched a couple of times when I missed Cornell when I was abroad this past semester, it was perfect for that, haha

that was awesome

bump…

Can this thread [video] be permanently affixed to the first page?

One last bump…
