<p>Simply put—choosing a school based on its selectivity is ridiculous. Attend the school where you’ll be most happy.</p>
<p>Yeah, we do have plenty of private universities up here! I’d like to have a really good instate, less expensive option too. Oh well! My main concern with UMASS isn’t that it’s less selective just mainly the vibe I got when I visited campus. Most people seemed more concerned with what party they were going to (on a thursday night) than ANYTHING else :/</p>
