A New Chapter

Hello everyone! My name is David and I am from Boston, MA. I graduated from high school last spring and start community college in the next week. I was not a great high school student, I had a 2.3 GPA throughout my 4 years. I decided instead of going to a half a$$ state school, that I would go to CC to one, save money and also improve my studies. I hope to transfer to Florida State in the next year or two for Criminology. If anyone has any information or advice for transferring to FSU, I would really appreciate it. Thank you. GO NOLES!!!

Bump bump bump :)

If you plan on transferring before completing an associates degree make sure your credits will transfer. You do not want to end up in a situation where you have to retake things.

Also check with Florida to see what GPA is required for transfer. Some programs require a higher GPA.

What do you think the best thing for me to do is? FSU is not terribly difficult to get into but I want to take the right steps in order to get there. If I have a 3.5 GPA at the end of the year and finish all my core classes would I have any chance of getting in next fall?
