A New Common App Q...

Okay, so there are 2 essays in the common app, one real one, and one short one about your favorite activity. I can't decide if this should be like an essay, or they just really want to know what my favorite activity is...? Basically, for my real essay I wrote about a huge fundraiser I did for my choir, and my choir is my favorite activity (i make this very clear in my big essay), is it bad to write 2 seperate essays about the same thing??

And if I want to send certain essays to certain schools...how do I do that will common app? send one with 1 college on my list then go back and do it again??

Thanks!

dont write about teh same thing twice!

yes you can submit the common app individually online. just submit it to one school, then go back and edit it for the next.

The short one really is an essay - a short one! Edit your "real" essay down to fit the space about your favorite activitiy, and then write another to fit the bigger common app question. Just my opinion, :)

I agree with ASAP. I think they ask that first question in order to draw you away from writing about your extra-curriculars on the first big one.
