<p>Your GPA is a little low for that school but I think you have other good credentials. The fact that you’re out of state might help (and really far). Schools like diversity :)</p>

Emory is a reach only because of such a low GPA but everything else is about the same as me so let’s cross our fingers!</p>

Emory- a bit of a reach here, but i have been informed that they are recruiting a massive amount of hispanics…so, with good essays and with a lot of interest in Emory, i’d say low reach/match.</p>

<p>being a URM really helps for Emory but i think your UW GPA is a bit low even for URM. I’d say a reach for Emory , maybe :(</p>

<p>I am not too familiar with GT admissions, but from what your have stated I think that you are in. Being from California, Hispanic, as well as being a male are all things that can’t hurt your chances.
