haha. honestly, once you’re here (or wherever you go), time will fly by. I can’t believe I’m almost not a freshman. crazy, right? but i legit CAN’T WAIT for spring (pond jumps, sitting on the circle, shorts, meh flippy-floppies, etc.)
so chill. you’ll have more than enough time.

btw, where did you apply?

In order of preference: Groton, DA, SPS, THS

SSRS (60 second Rule Sucks)

Haha BlueRaven, it’s actually nice to meet some fellow viola players. At my school, there are like 5 of us out of 55 orchestra students

Izzy: I applied to Middlesex as a sophomore, so if I get in, I will be in your grade! (not to sound creepy)

Would you consider a peculiar interest a hook?

depends on the interest and how you demonstrate your passion for it.

If you were interested in math and joined your high school math team, that is not that impressive but if you were interested in underwater basket weaving and founded an organization that taught children how to weave baskets underwater, that may be impressive.

So then I assume that jigsaw puzzling isn’t considered anything special because doing 3,000 piece puzzles for up to 30 hours a week is probably common among applicants…

@skisoccer: I hope you mentioned that in your interview; it would probably make you stand out
@polodolly: I am african and also play the viola
@blueraven: You are not the only one who has noticed the correlation between people who are on CC and also play the viola. :D

Go Africans! I hate the fact that we both applied to exeter UF, lol, we’re proably like each others only competition cuz according to the viewbook there have either been 0 or 1 student from our country

well actually were not competing cuz we’re in diff grades, but anyway, i think thats a hook or at least a bump for us, yay :D

There are actually alot a students from our country in Exeter. I looked in the year book and saw many of them.

@ 2010 hopeful: awesome! I’m really looking forward to new sophomores! (it’ll spice the grade up )

Yesssssss, would this count as a hook?

—> Well, I was born in El Salvador and have lived in 7 different 3rd world countries and I’m an American citizen??

^ You will find out, if it was a strong enough hook in less than a week

im applying to MX as a new junior

@urbanflop: REALLY??? NOOO!!! Oh well, I must have been thinking of a different school then…

Best hook=amazing athlete in a “hard” sport

Haha thank god for football

…and ice hockey, basketball, lax, soccer, baseball

so badminton doesn’t count? ;)
