A non-business major... to Business School

Hi Everyone,

I'm currently on the forums to ask for some help. I recently graduated from NYU with a Bachelors of Music: Music Education. I have always been passionate about Information Systems and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what I could to do transition into the business field.

I've interned at several different companies - specifically in IT departments/Helpdesk, however, I am certain that interning at companies does not count as work experience.

I was wondering if I should get a Certificate at NYU's SCPS school, specifically in Business Management, in order to expose me to the necessary business courses to get me started.

An alternative would be to get a Masters Degree in Information Systems, which requires studying for the GMAT, recommendations, etc.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You can apply to business school with any major.
