Hey guys. I've been reading topics on this site for awhile, and I see a lot of 4.8's, 1500's and what not. Well, I'M NOT LIKE MOST OF YOU OVER-ACHIEVERS, I'm a slacker. I totally blew off my freshmen year and the beginning of my sophomore year, but i made up for it my junior year... and here are my final stats:

Grade Problems - D+/C- in trig (I'm hoping my 4.6 gpa during junior year will make up for this)

SAT I: 680 Verbal, 730 Math (1410 Total)
SAT II: 720 Writing, 720 Math, 780 Spanish (2250 Total)
ACT: 32

EC's:
- 2 years of varsity basketball
- 2 years of track
- 1 year of varsity baseball
- 2 years of volleyball
- CSF Sealbearer
- Key Club for 3 years
- Spanish Club for 3 years
- Bowling Club for 2 years
- NHS for 3 semesters
- All-Defensive Team for my region in basketball for 2 years
(I'm sure there are more, but I cant remember them all right now)

Other Stuff:
100+ community service hours at an animal shelter
70+ hours at a children's hospital
50+ hours at a retirement center
Summer basketball coach (5-7 year-old's)
- 3 part time jobs throughout two years.

Anyway, could somebody tell me if the following schools are a match/reach/safety:

SAT I: 680 Verbal, 730 Math (1410 Total)
SAT II: 720 Writing, 720 Math, 780 Spanish (2250 Total)
ACT: 32"

Those are not the stats of a slacker! Trust me, if u blew off 9th and 10th grade you wouldn't have a 3.75 UW GPA! My friend is goin through the same thing in her trig class, she got a D. It's a 50/50 chance whether a college will hold that against you.

haha. i WAS a slacker. i got 2.8's and 3.0's my freshmen year, and i knew i could've gotten all A's. luckily, i woke up in like January of sophomore year and decided to give it my all. both semesters of my junior year were 4.6's, and thats what brought my overall GPA up. i should've given it my all since the beginning, but whatever. bump.

I think there's a problem with the name of your thread. You are not a normal student. 1410, is not normal for the typical applicant, it's normal for the typical CC students who has high sat scores.

And a low gpa is a <3.3 unweighted

You shouldn't have trouble getting into any of the UC's.
