<p>I was just in Barnes and Noble and was looking through this college book. Someone wondered why they ask for your picture on the application. Does anyone know? Everything in the book was speculation.</p>
<p>One plausible reason why wake wants you to submit your picture could be to verify your race. Another reason I've heard is because wake wants to keep all the ugly kids out. :-)</p>
<p>They tell you to submit pictures to verify your race and for your id card. Trust me, they don't use it to keep the ugly people out and if that is the reason they make you put a picture on your app...they have failed miserably.</p>
