If you are waitlisted at any of them I will cross my fingers that if/when I deny that you will be given my spot. :)

nah, jkjk. waitlisted at SPS, but I'm just going to take my Mx acceptance. I liked Mx a little better anyway.

Lawrenceville, Choate and Milton will be glad to know they are catching up with the HADES schools. This is a long stated goal of theirs and will lead to happiness and joy among the masses.

you listed Middlesex twice

Ok. let me fix that error.

There are more than 300 boarding schools in US. I don't know how many tiers we should
classify so many schools into. If any schools belong to top 5~10%, those are the first tier. So the following schools are first tier. We see many cases that students are accepted by Andover, Exeter, Groton, St. Paul even if they are rejected by lower ranked schools. It is not a good idea to pick a few school and define them as tier 1. We'd better extend the concept of the first tier. Any student who go the following schools are exceptional and outstanding, and they deserve to be called tier 1 students.

-Phillips Exeter Academy
-Phillips Academy Andover
-The Hotchkiss School
-Deerfield
-St. Pauls School
-Choate Rosemary Hall
-Milton Academy
-Taft
-Concord
-Lawrenceville
-Middlesex
-Groton
-St. Marks
-St. Georges
-Peddie
-St. Andrew
-Thatcher
-Cate
-Loomis Chaffee

Please excuse my irreverent "note" about subjective ratings:

Fun is fun: LOL -- your name is well deserved!!

sarum, while your sentiment about SUBJECTIVE ratings is to the point, its extremely vulgar (for those that dont understand, the term "turning japanese" is slang for masturbation)

you learn something new everyday!

Erkibk, I think you should add Peddie and Kent to your list. They too, offer world - class education and deserve to be on that list.
