You probably remember me from the ND REA thread and others. My son just was accepted to Notre Dame REA. I wanted to let you know how impressed I was with your generosity of information throughout this process. I believe many others feel the same way. I had no idea you were a prospective student until the very end when you started talking about possibly being accepted. Throughout the entire process, you were, in a sense, helping your competition, and that says a lot about you. This is the type of person that ND attracts and one of the main reasons my son wanted to go there vs. other top universities. Your parents should be very proud of you. Thank you for all your help. Good luck at ND, and I hope my son gets to know you. Go Irish!!

@WineLover Thank you for the kind comment above, and for all the helpful posts you add here. I’d just been trying to provide info like @northwesty @suzy100 and @FarmerMom had been providing for me. ND Admissions really does a pretty good job of making info available. For example, those videos that ND Admissions posted to YouTube in 2014 and 2016 were such good resources for any applicant. I think I have memorized Don Bishop’s words from those 2 videos I have listened to them so many times, just looking for any small tidbit of info or kernel of useful data.

I feel like these cc boards helped educate me on admissions in general and ND in particuklar, so I’m grateful for the give and take on here.
