A Note to Those of You Playing the Waiting Game From a Survivor...

This time last year I was in your shoes. Sitting, wondering, and worrying about my future, the stress of this time was often more than I could bear. I would often take long drives into the mountains at night questioning myself and my mistakes. I literally felt helpless. I have a few thoughts I would like to share as I reflect back on last winter.

My Message to You All: Have faith in yourselves. If there is one thing I've come to realize it is that the mind of a good person can literally conquer anything. Your future is literally in your hands - nothing is stopping you from creating whatever reality you desire. As you wait for the end of March, remember that college is only one small component of your life and what truly matters is your character in determining success. Walk boldly, act nobly, and the future is yours. Never forget that things work out for humble people with big dreams. It's a tough message to digest, but give it some thought.

If you have any questions or would simply like to talk, shoot me a message. I truly wish all of you the best of luck going forward.

@Ace2209: Thanks for the message. I agree with you - A ray of optimism and self belief has enough to run away miles of darkness!

How has your time at Harvard been? Do you feel that you have ‘discovered’ something about yourself at Harvard?

Thanks!! At this point I’m just keeping busy and forgetting about colleges all together

Hey Ace thanks so much for that! You couldn’t have put it better!

Ace, that was a very nice message, one that i feel a lot of us needed, so thank you for that, it was awfully nice of you. (=
