A&O Sessions and Moving In

<p>I had two quick questions!</p>

<p>1) What are the dates for the Freshmen A&O sessions? I tried searching the school website but couldn't really find anything.
2) From what day can we start moving into the dorms? </p>

<p>These questions may be a bit premature considering it's only April, but we're currently living internationally and we need to figure out when to get plane tickets and such asap. If anyone has any information, please let me know! Thanks :)</p>

<p>You should be able to sign up for a A&O session.</p>

<p>If you are in Honors, you MUST sign up for one of these sessions:
June 25-26
June 28-29
July 9-10
July 12-13
July 19-20
July 23-24
August 16-17</p>

<p>They will not have special flags or anything if you are in Honors; just be sure to choose one of those dates.</p>

<p>Dorms … are you doing EFS?</p>

<p>Wow, thanks so much! I haven’t received my Honors letter yet so I’m not sure if I got in, but I’ll keep that in mind.</p>

<p>And no, I won’t be doing EFS as far as I’m aware</p>

<p>If I were you, I’d sign up for the earliest A&O you can go to that also has Honors as an option. The “Honors A&O” also hosts non-Honors students, so you can be flexible between Honors and non-Honors. :)</p>

<p>If you sign up for a A&O that does not have an Honors option and you end up in Honors (either through admission now or waitlist then admission), you’d have to change your A&O date … by then you may be restricted to only a few dates.</p>

<p>@speedsolver Alright, that makes sense. I’ll keep that in mind, then!! And if it isn’t any inconvenience, do you know when we’re allowed to start moving into our dorms? Does it start from the week before classes begin?</p>

<p>sophaloph: I think it’s the wednesday or thursday before classes begin. :slight_smile: Each person has a different ‘move in’ date and time though, so that not everyone tries to cram into the dorms on the same day at noon!</p>
