A- on the transcript

Hello,
So this semester as a junior I will have at least 2 A-'s in my AP classes and I was just wondering how bad does that look on the transcript during college admission for top school such as Stanford? Do colleges even see the A-'s on the transcript because the transcript that I got from my counselor had them.

are you kidding me dude? HAHA. relax.

If you have really great EC’s, then you’re good to go xD.

If your high school prints them on your transcript, Stanford will see them.

But the good news is, if you don’t get into Stanford, it won’t be the difference between A- and A that does you in.

Yeah, you’re being a bit too worried about an A- compared to an A. That’s not going to make/break you.

I’m not worrying over just one or two. It’s because I’ve consistently had at least one every semester in high school, so I was just wondering if that’s bad. But from the responses above, I guess its not. haha

A-= 3.66, A = 4.0…Obviously, a 4.0 is a whole lot better than a 3.66 GPA

well for high school, well at least for mine, A- is still a 4.0, so I’m not worried about the GPA.

At our public HS, +'s and -'s aren’t considered in the gpa calculation, but do appear on the transcript. An A+, A, or A- are all worth 4.0, or 5.0 if AP/IB.

dafuq? Only on CC… only on CC will kids worry about A-s lololol

If your GPA doesn’t suffer because of those A-'s, you should be fine.
