A.P. Lang and Comp help!!!

In my school, my teacher just sits and makes us do pointless activities...I'm pretty sure we haven't written an essay all year. I don't know what's going to happen on the a.p., someone please enlighten me on the exam and advise me what to do?

As with most of the other AP exams, the AP English Language and Composition exam has two section: a multiple-choice and a free-response section. The multiple-choice section requires you to answer questions regarding passages, much like on the SAT’s critical reading section. The free-response section is made up of three essays: the synthesis, rhetoric, and general argument essays. In the synthesis essay, you have to incorporate quotes from a selection of six to nine documents while answering a prompt. In the rhetoric essay, you have to write about the rhetorical technique the writer used and how they help develop his/her argument. In the general argument essay, you incorporate examples to defend your position on an issue (i.e. supporting, refuting, or qualifying the issue).

Hope that helped. I’m taking the same test this year and so far I think I’ll barely manage a 3 or low 4.

This test is an easy 5…just practice the MC and essays…
