A penny for your chances

hey guys

I am a south asian male currently living in Canada. I am going into Grade 11 into the IB program right now and am fairly new to the whole American College selection process. I am trying to find some good pre med schools that could be my potential reaches, matches and safety. Unfortunately, i have little to no idea where i am going to apply and any help would be appreciated.

Our school doesn't do ranks but im certain in the top 5% of my grade with a 90% average during my pre-IB years.

Language: I speak English, Bengali and a bit of french
SAT:
Math: 760
Writing: 710
Critial Reading: 670

Total:2140 (I still have a few months to improve and get it up to 2250)

For Grade 11, I am taking all IB courses including biology, chemistry, math, french....

Extra Curriculars( I am aware my ECs are not that strong. However i have one and a half years left to greatly improve that)

-Empowered Student Partnership(ESP)
-Junior Soccer team(city runner-ups)
-Asian Club(not as stupid as it sounds)
-Schools Newspaper Editor

-Squash player for 3 years
-Swimming for 5 years

Volunteer Activities:
150 hours + volunteering(aiming for 400)
-Peer Tutoring Program
-Bridgepoint Hospital volunteer
-Local community centre volunteer

Some of you may think its too early for me to worry about this but im a bit nervous. Any names of potential matches, reaches and safety will be really helpful.

bump.
anyone please?

potential reaches:
Johns Hopkins, Duke, University of Virginia, University of Michigan, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

potential matches:
University of Wisconsin at Madison, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, UC Irvine

I'm actually not too sure, i'm just listing places off the top of my head - hope it helps :)

Hmmm you have good SAT scores .. some potential reaches could be Duke or JH. matches is university of NC? for safety probably university of Illinois

thx guys. that actually helps a lot because before i had no clue. any others guys? id like more options

don't be afraid to look at some state schools there are a lot of gems that are a lot cheaper than the ivys and top-notch schools. im going to miami university in oxford, ohio completely free. im planning on going to medical school as well, and since medical school costs are about 40k-50k a year, my main thing in my college search was to find a good school that was good in the natural sciences (my major) and was affordable since there are NO med school scholarships and will end up paying for it...better to come out of undergrad work w/ as little debt as possible

hope this helps

thx thats actually true. im just initially trying to make a list of possible schools.. and ill narrow it down from there. cmon ppl:)

bump
any more help will be appreciated guys!!
