A person does NOT need college or highschool to make it in life!

by 2 year route, i meant 2 years in jail, comprende?

haha i think this thread is amusing...
honestly though...was it really necessary to say this? i mean you're coming on to a forum where people actually CARE about college and try to show off that your life is sooo great ooh wow...kinda sad that you already have two kids...and you're only 21...
Maybe instead of spending time on this forum trying to convince us how great your life is and how people don't need degrees to earn money....maybe you should think about WHY people want to go to college...not everything's about money in life, there's respect, admiration, a sense of achievement/accomplishment...and obviously do you really wanna brag to the whole world that you were in jail for 2 years, had kids out of wedlock...don't have any degrees and your business relies on underground factors?
If you love your kids that much, and want to be a role model to them...i suggest your underground business (which might get you back into jail one day for a very long time) is not the way to do it.
And why are you telling them to go to school and college everyday if you're saying it's not important...?
kinda negates the whole thing doesn't it.

plus....i dunno about you, but if english is the only language you know, and you can't even speak, type, or properly spell/grammatize your words...honestly i'd be ashamed...if i was in your place. You're 21 now, so for you life's great. How bout when you're 30, 40, 50? and you're business is over, you can't get another job cos you obviously are too smart for a degree...and you go to job interviews/business meetings, have to type up itineraries, proposals, prospects..and you're English is like this. yea most probably you hired someone to do it for you...but don't you think it's already shameful enough that the 'Big Boss' himself can't write a letter properly, let alone a simple email? it's gonna hit you hard when you're older.
Bill Gates didn't get a degree, he got rich first. But guess what. He got his degree later...and he did it the proper way, he didn't wanna just pay to get it. I mean he has money, family, a life....why ever would he go back and get a degree then?

You dont need ANYTHING in life to theoretically become very successful.

But nowadays, a college degree has a 99.9% chance of making you more successful in life than a high school dropout, most of which end up unemployed, homeless, and then just die in a trash can. Exceptions to this are complete outliers, just as you will find some truly amazing people who graduated from places like Princeton in crappy jobs, usually due to bad luck.

Its just how life presents itself.

And also, for reference, its NOT hard at ALL to get a job once out of college - its really easy. It just depends how good of a job you want - you want to get hired at burger king? sure, wotvr. Joblessness is mostly due to personal choice (except in the case of the general homeless population, but thats another argument)

I am fairly certain Mr. Davis is not telling the truth.

Troll for sure.

why fix cars when you could go to the work at home institute?!?11!?!1?!!!

since this is a chances thread, i'm just going to say that the op is a reject at the university of life

these people are being aholes to you and its not right. look its good that you turned your life around and own a business. but, you are one of the lucky ones, also think it is great that you are hiring people that need to get on the right path. your business sounds like a life line to them. however, even with your success, you are one in a million. the better education you receive increases you chances of being a successful human being. although higher education doesnt give you a slip saying, "congrats you are automatically successful" it does help you odds of being successful in this dog eat dog world. good luck with the business and congrats on your marriage. i hope the best for you and your family.
