Hi, I am a junior, and I am looking to apply to a engineering school in general.
I was wondering how would I show college admissions my projects that I work on?

My projects are similar to:
Virtual circuit designs
A web cms
Java programs

Currently I draw up schematics on a program called Logism.
Is there specific way I should display my work?
Should I provide videos with me demonstrating my work?
Or is a portfolio not even needed for engineering?

Also, I would like to ask how helpful would these projects be in admissions?

The ones that my friends applied to did not require a portfolio. But the accurate answer depends on your college. Check your college choice and go from there. Good luck

I’d email one of the CS professors at each of the schools you’re interested in and explain you have a portfolio of apps you’d like to present to help you gain admission. I doubt that someone in the admissions office would be able to judge the apps, but if the CS professor likes what you’ve done, they could put in a good word for you at the admissions office.

Just make sure the apps aren’t hard to set up and run. A simple link to each of the apps would be best, if that’s possible.

Like Amisuki, I’ve never heard of a CS program that required a portfolio. (Though there might be a few out there.)
