I am a Junior, and I just recieved my March SAT scores: Reading and Math: 710 on both. Writing: 660. Essay: 8. This is the second time I took the test. First time I did not prepare at all and did terribly. This time I prepared a little, but definately less than I could have. I know I can do better than this. My goal is a 750 or higher on math, same with reading. Anything over a 700 on writing would be nice, but i'm not too worried about that score.

I still need to take the Chemistry, Physics, and Math II subject tests.

The remaining test dates, I think, are in May, June, October, and November. The only problem with the last two (Oct. and Nov.) is that I may not be able to see my scores before I send them to colleges. I am applying Early Application to all my serious choices.

I was thinking of taking the May SAT, with the late fee, and taking the Chemistry one only in June because I won't have to study much since I'll be taking the AP Chemistry exam. June 5, the day of the test, is the day after I return from a weeklong school trip (required). Therefore, I won't be able to get good studying in for the Math II or Physics tests. However, since Chemistry should still be fresh in my mind I would like to take that then anyway.

Do you think from now to May 1st I will have enough time to bring up my SAT I scores to where I want them? Also, when should I take the subject tests? What two paths should I take if I get the scores or don't get the scores I want?

Please help. Sorry about the length of this post, but I've run into a bit of a problem here. Thanks.
