Hello. I just joined this website to ask a question that has been irking me for quite some time now. I have been admitted to The University of Chicago and waitlisted at Claremont McKenna. Because I had to submit a deposit to one of the schools to which I was accepted by May 1st, I have officially done so at UChicago. However, if by some miracle of God I was admitted from CMC's waitlist, I am fairly sure I would go there. Can any of you informed students give me a breakdown and comparison of the two schools? Which one would you say has the better English and Political Science classes, and which one has the better professors? Also, if you know anything about UChicago's Institute of Politics, could you maybe contrast it to the Athenaeum Speaker Series at Claremont? I've visited both campuses, so I already am aware that they are starkly different campus environments. Also here's some extra information about me so that you can gauge my personality: I am a prospective English/PoliSci double major. Though I can't be classified as a "partier" I definitely enjoy socializing with people. I am in no way a nerd, but I certainly enjoy intelligent conversation. Ideally, I would like to attend Stanford for Law School after my graduation from college.

Thank you to anyone who takes the time to answer some of these questions.
