When I was doing my summer research in my sophomore year, I met someone who was a Brown alumnus class of 2006. He also worked at the admissions board and he said that similar to the other top schools, Brown does not want a laundry list of EC's but they want to really know what you have done in the EC's that you have committed your time and energy into. There are people who may be president of an organization and barely do anything or they could really run the organization and spend hours on end working to make the organization run as efficiently as they can. If you are the latter, talk in depth about it and it could possibly set you apart from another applicant GL!
