i understand that wash u is an incredibly selective schoool.

However, as i narrow down my colleges, i got accepted uchicago, rice, wash u, northwestern, and 2 waitlists, i wonder why Wash U isn't on any campus calendars for the top i-banking firms and consulting firms.

In fact, I don't think that I saw it on any list.

Can someone plz help explain this result. How can a school that is ranked in the top 15 on us news yield so little attention from top firms????

From this, i have crossed it off my list, I currently attend Cornell University, so it's between U of Chicago and Northwestern or remaining at Cornell (which i dont think is happening)

i actually think WUSTL would draw in alot of attention from employers in near by cities, with St. Louis employers being number 1.

I think the one reason WUSTL draw so much attention is because they're in Missouri, that's like right smack in the middle of the country.

The major cities of the US are what, Chicago,NYC, Los Angeles, Boston, Miami? and all these cities have great schools in them that big name and corporate employers can recruit from with easy access compared to hitting up the middle of the country.

The job placements in I-banking and consulting firms are not bad at all.
In addition, there was an article in the Student Life about this year's placement for Olin grads. It is much better than previous years.
