This is probably a dumb question but I haven't been able to find a conclusive answer. I'm going into CAS next year. Was I supposed to have registered for classes already or do I wait for orientation? I know I meet with an adviser at orientation but I'm not sure if that's when I actually register or if they're supposed to be approving a schedule I've already set up myself. I haven't received any emails or information about registering for classes, but I know that the other schools like Stern and LSP have already registered. Can anyone just give me a definite answer because I'm kind of nervous about this. Thanks in advance.

You meet with an adviser during orientation and register for your classes.

you can e-mail your advisor to plan your classes too. any person can do. thats what i did. not sure if you can register early. i never asked. however, you get to know if a specific course you want is available or what is available so far. i believe they reserve some MAP courses for freshman.
