I'm on the road a lot. But I want to get my B.S. in Computer Science.

I have found these colleges that have an online BSCS program. But I'm sure which one to do.

Regis University ------- $460 a credit hour

Franklin University ------ $354 a credit hour

Mountain State University -----$290 a credit hour

TUI University-----------$298 a credit hour

Mercy College -----------~$668 a credit hour

Why not Univ of Illinois at Springfield? ([University of Illinois Springfield - UIS](http://www.uis.edu))

Some employers may not even think about the “Springfield” part and just see Univ of Illinois on your resume.

Personally, if I was looking for an online degree, I would look for a program attached to a flagship state university (like the UMD system or the FSU system, and I’m sure there are others). I would avoid for-profit schools (e.g. TUI) and schools without actual campuses or with satellite only campuses (e.g. Phoenix, which is also For Profit) because of the attached stigma.

I am so embarrassed. I live in Maryland and forgot about UMUC. I took it for granted. Well, UMUC does so much I.T. online, I forgot they actually have a BSCS online.

But…yes, what GP said…use the bigger schools (or campuses of those schools).

I think University of Maryland would be great. The online college that I was looking hard at was Regis. This is because the college does work with the NSA/DOD.

All of the versions of Univ of Maryland (UMUC, UMCP and UMBC) are HEAVILY represented at NSA/DOD. I cannot really tell you how I know (hehehehe).
