A question about Extracurriculars

This is pretty straigth forward. I've been giving math regularization lessons 2 times a week to people who need it. I'm getting paid of course. Will big name colleges take this into account at EC's?

Also, I've started a small informal buisness of my own developing software for people who need it, I've invested 80+ hours into it, and have made 500 dollars so far, again, will this count into my favor?

College apps generally have different places for Extracurricular Activity and Work Experience. Since you made money for both of these, it would qualify as Work Experience, not an EC.

Regardless, it could still help your application, especially if you elaborate on it in your essays.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind.
