Until my junior year I maintained a 4.0 UW GPA. In the first semester of my junior year I recieved a B in AP Calculus BC. Second semester I received a C- in AP Calculus BC, bringing my GPA down to a 3.93. While this GPA isn't anything to worry about, I am worried about the C- on my transcript and how much that grade is going to hurt me, especially when applying to selective schools. I am trying to get this grade appeal because I feel it was given unfairly, however, I'm preparing myself to have to live with the grade. I'd just like to know how much the grade will hurt me in admissions if it does end up standing. Some extra info: I've challenged myself with a rigorous curriculum, taking the highest level classes available to me, if that helps at all. Thanks

Are you sure the C- will show on your transcript? At our high sch. only the final course grade is shown, not semester grades.

yes, on our high school transcrips the semester grades are shown
