Hi guys, I am from Michigan. I know that STS is very competitive and looking at this competition's application is making me sweat. The thing is, I am a very hard worker, but my grade point is around 3.75 and this summer I am researching at a prestigious school "University of Michigan." Just because my grade point is low, they are not going to exclude my project right? Looking at the application, I realize that they require test scores, and previous research experience and science fairs that I have attended to. My test scores are alright and I am still taking my SATs and ACTs in september and october, just to be competitive with others in this competition. I hear that people who enter have like 2400s and previous won science competitions such as Siemens and Intel Isef. Btw, I am researching on a neuromuscular junction at sternalmastoid muscle and their dynamics. Can u guys please reply to this post and give me some tips. Thanks

Enter and see what happens. There’s not much you can do for your GPA at this point, at least not before entries are submitted.
