I had my art teacher write me a very nice letter of rec for USC. I sent in the USC teacher Evaluation form and the letter but, the form she hadn't signed the bottom of the form. Will that present a problem or will I be okay? Any answers would be appreciated. Thank you!

If your teacher kept a copy, she can sign it and send it in again. If not, I'd call the admissions office and ask their advice.

BTW, they give more weight to the letter of recommendation if you have signed the release saying you ..."will not seek access to this confidential recommendation...." In other words, your teacher is supposed to send it in to show you have not read it.

Really? My teacher just gave me the form and the letter, together with an official envelope. Do you think I should sign the release, even though I have seen the form and the letter?

Honestly... you can't sign it if you already did "seek access to this confidential recommendation." But just send it as you planned. It will be OK.

is it bad if my only letter of recc. was from myy guidance councelor?

It is totally fine to send in just one rec from your guidance counselor.

how many letters or rec are too many? i have one from my counselor, two from teachers and one from my MUN Director. i'm highly involved in MUN and i want to study international relations...

You don't need ANY letters of REC for USC. They will maybe only look at 2 tops, but it is not required (unless the specific school you are applying too requires a certain amount. For example, the film school requires 3.)

Actually, you do need at least one letter of rec from a counselor or teacher for USC. See form 4. The number that you want to send above that one depends on you. Send more if you feel they are very good, and add a dimension previously unseen to your application. Something from the MUN director as an extra would probably be good, because it shows another side to your application.
