A question about pre-reqs

I'm applying this season and I've found myself in a bit of a hairy situation. Next semester I was planning on taking the last bio and the last physics pre-req that I needed for my life science major. The only problem is that their schedules conflict, so I'll only be able to take the bio.

So on to my question...

The physics series at my CCC differs slightly from the physics series at the UC's. I've already taken two semesters of physics, but won't be able to finish the series before transferring. Will I have to retake any of these classes?

is there more than 1 time slot that you can take for the physics? if you're aiming for UCLA or Cal they want EVERYTHING done by the end of spring. for the other UCs i dont think its a problem if you take that class in the summer

Cal does not want EVERYTHING done by spring. I took a semester of OChem the summer before I got to Cal, and they were fine with it.

I even got into Cal with half of my prereqs done for my major. Granted, my major isn't impacted, but still. I know others in my major who didn't finish their prereqs. How do I know this? We're all in the same physics class that's a prereq for MCB.

You may have to take physics again. Unless it's on assist, there is a significant chance it won't transfer. This happened to a colleague of mine.

It would help if you list your major and your community college.
