Do you normally read the whole passage and then answer the questions, or read the questions and then find the relevant sections to answer them?

I've found that the latter saves a lot of time, but should I read the whole passage first to improve accuracy?

I usually read the passages first; I feel like I need an idea of the scope of the passage and a general feel of it before I can attempt to answer the questions. Just a personal preference!

Thanks! I’ll keep that in mind. From my practice tests I’ve noticed that I miss a few questions if I don’t read the whole passage. Like you said, it’s probably better to get a greater sense of the text first.

I tend to skim the questions first and then start skimming the passage. When I get to a portion that is pointed out (like a line reference in one of the questions), I stop reading and do that question. I do that because I have a really bad memory, and by doing it that way, I don’t forget what that part is about. I keep doing that until I finish the passage, then I do the questions that ask about the passage as a whole. But sometimes I run out of time. That’s just me though.
