A Question About SAT Scores

I have a question about the application process. I recieved my October Sat Reasoning Scores but the results are lower than I expected. I want to retake the test but the problem is that on December 2 I am taking SAT Subject Tests and the next available date is January 27. Is there an option where I can take the Sat test on January 27 and send the scores after the application deadline? (January 1)

I maybe misinformed, but from what I have read sending your scores late can seriously damage your chances. IT WILL BE HELD AGAINST YOU. You can still send the late scores in, but they may not even be consdiered. I would recommend just sending in you original scores. Why didn't you take the SAT before? If you have any more questions, just ask.

P.S. If you do take them though and you are rejected you can appeal on the account of your new SAT scores (just a thought).

Well, here I can help you a bit,I have asked many unis regarding this via email(as I myself is takin SAT 2 on jan 27),many say that you can take on that date as it is the last permissible date(provided the scores reach on time)(Harvard,Yale,MIT,Princeton,Cornell,Caltech,Upenn,etc..),very few said that you will have to rush your scores(Swarthmore,Brown...),and very few said it is not allowed(Carnegie,Uni of California).....for more, you better ask your college....

I hope it won't damage my chances but the scores I recieved are a lot lower than what I expected. From what I read I see that I have to ask the universities that I am applying to individually because not every one of them allows that. Thank you for your help.

Well,it wont HURT your chances at all, many will allow that....dont worry too much..

hey!
Where did you give it from n e way?
btw do you think they scored you very less on the essay you wrote, coz i feel so in my case...
