<p>I was just wondering exactly what information belongs in the Honors part of the Education section of the Common App. Is it purely scholastic honors? For example, I was part of a team that won the sustainability challenge given by my school. Should that go in the honors or activities section? Also, what about National Contests, like the National French Contest or the AMC/AIME? I assume those belong in the honors section, but is that right?</p>
<p>Bump - I had the same question as well. It’s hard to distinguish what to put in the “Honors” section and what to put in the “Activities” section. Does anyone have an answer to this?</p>
<p>Same question here too! And say you started an organization: does the work you’ve done with the organization (impact, awards etc.) be transferred to you too? Like “helped X number of people through Y that I started”, is that an honor?</p>
