<p>California residents will still be given priority, but OOS students have better chances these next few years compared to previous years. </p>
<p>Also, the UC system does not taken into account financial need (“need-blind”), so a high income student would not have an advantage over a low income student, nor vice versa. </p>
<p>You have very good scores, a challenging schedule, and enough extracurriculars to be in the running, so make sure you clearly state in your application what went wrong with your GPA during your junior year.</p>
