A question for what GPA tcan get into UC

Can u guys tell me what is GPA requirement for UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCI, UCD, UCSB for transfer student? I mean the GPA cutoffs for each year admission. Thank u!

By the way, my major is ECON.

the cut off for ALL UC is a 2.4.

But of course, you don't want to make THAT as your target GPA. You'll end up at nowhere.

To actually have a chance at decently impacted majors, you want to have at least a 3.2.

If you want to be competitive, get at least a 3.5

If you are shooting for REALLY impacted major at UCLA/Berkeley, shoot for a 3.8

If you are shooting for Haas, shoot for a 3.9

But best of all, go for a 4.0 ;)

Econ major...

I dunno about other schools, but for UCLA, the average admitted GPA for an econ major was a 3.76

econ is one of the most popular majors at berkeley for transfers (in the letters and science at least)...

a 4.0 as always should be the goal. period. period.
