A Question From a Prospective Student

Hey, i wanna know if there is any big difference from the ammount of work you did in highschool from the ammount of work you do now at the university. How many hours a day does a student usually have to study to have a competitive GPA (3.75-3.80 or above). Consider that i am gonna take two majors (economy and comp science) and i love both these subjects...

At my school, you need to study almost constantly to maintain those grades. It all depends on your school and your own innate ability, though

same thing at my school.

During high school I studied maybe 1~1.5 hours a day (including homework).

During last semester of college I did around the same amount of work.

This semester I hardly do any :D (coz GPA doesn't transfer!!).

My GPA for high school was like 93, but that was the highest GPA O_O (yeah a lot of kids in my high school weren't very motivated). My GPA for college last semester was 3.93.

wow y17k, or you god damn smart or colleges r really easy there... how could u get a 3.93 GPA with only 1-1.5 hours a day... here in albania (my native country) i study at mos 1 hour a day and i have a good GPA, and i thought it would be difficult for me to adapt to a very intensive school system like the that of the US, which was described to me like perfect and very difficult and at least 4 hours of learning a day was indispensabile to get a GPA high than 3.75... BTW what r u majoring in?
