<p>Actually, here's a cool little trick:</p>
<ol>
<li>Go to <a href="http://www.bookstores.nyu.edu/%5B/url%5D">http://www.bookstores.nyu.edu/</a></li>
<li>Click on "faculty services"</li>
<li>Click on "check requisition status"</li>
<li>Input the class information (I'm assuming you already registered)</li>
<li>Click "submit request"</li>
</ol>
<p>This will give you whatever the professor has asked the bookstore to stock for his/her class this fall. </p>
<p>Although I agree with previous posters about the fact that some books aren't really required, I feel for your classes (with the exception of WTE), it's pretty likely that none of the books are going to be optional. So, if you don't mind taking on the risk..</p>
