Hi, I am a high school senior who submitted the deposit to college. Right now, I am going to submit I-20 application to the college, but I have a question about I-20. So, currently I sent some appeal letters to colleges that I got rejected. However, I want to know that if I can cancel I-20 application if my appeal works.

If you decide to attend a different college after another college has already created a SEVIS record for you, you should ask the old college to transfer your SEVIS record to the new institution. The new college then simply prints a new I-20 for you and you are set.

The new college could also create a new SEVIS record for you, but then you’d have to pay the SEVIS fee twice.
