I recently received a 23 composite score on my ACT. Is this any good?
I think I did rather well even though I have a learning disability in math.

Depends on the rest of the question. The score is somewhat above average (which is usually between 21 and 22). It is likely good enough for admission to a number of colleges but is very low for any high ranked colleges.

Also, I don’t plan to attend any top schools or ivy leagues. I think I may attend a test-optional private school. But, I was wondering if this score was decent, considering I have had an IEP in math since I was young.

“I think I did rather well”

If you are satisfied with your score, then yes, you did well. How well you did is relative to your expectations and the schools you want to attend. So, good job! :)

Thank you :)

What schools are you interested in applying to?

How much will your parents spend each year on your education?

keep in mind that schools do often use scores to determine how generous they are with aid.

Wheaton (MA), New Paltz, Qunippiac (so bludgeoned the name), Drew. I have those in mind. My parents are willing to spend any amount as long as I am happy.

I think Le Moyne in New York would work for you. It’s about 2800 students. Your ACT is in its mid-range.
