Great SAT scores and EC’s. The only slight drawback would be the GPA (average for admitted students last year was a 4.07) so while I wouldn’t say you’re 100% in, I still think you have a very good shot.

I’d say slight reach, your test scores are great but your GPA is below average. You may not be guaranteed in, but you definitely stand a good chance.

thanks everyone. I heard that for UC’s, the essay barely counts as anything. Is this true?

The essays dont count in such a way that it can be a “deciding” factor or a huge influence (as opposed to cal/la holistic approach) to your application. Adcoms will merely see that you answered the question and didn’t make it apparent that you tried to screw up. Haha

keep in mind UCSD is on the point system and you better hope your test scores make up some of those lost gpa points. : )

match~~~~~~

other than GPA, your stats are almost identical to mine. not too much to worry about.

wow cool. Thanks guys for taking the time to chance me.
Yeah, as of right now, I’m kinda stressing for college and regretting alot of things (not studying) haha

does course rigor for senior year matter? because compared to the majority of seniors at my school, I’m taking a really rigorous schedule
