I took speech at my local community college during my junior year. The grade and year is listed on my high school transcript. Do I still need to send in a transcript from the community college?

Thanks and if it helps to know which colleges im applying to (USC, WashU, Brown, Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Rice) i looked at these websites but none of them were particularly clear about this....

i think so. well im not sure if this is required but thats what i did. it doesnt hurt to send it in addition to your high school transcript. and like, is it listed on your HS transcript that it was taken at the CC?

Some colleges will want you to send them a college transcript during the admissions process, some don’t. When you eventually enroll in a 4-year college, they will want your last CC transcript even if they don’t give you credit for the class. It doesn’t matter if the class is on your hs transcript because the classes were legally taken through an institution of higher education. I took classes at 2 different community colleges and had to submit both to my university. If this CC charges for transcripts, there is no reason to spend money sending one when the colleges do not need/want one at this time. Call the universities in question.
