<p>I'd say 75% of the time my ex wanted to do something with me, I'd reply: "Sorry, but I have [insert academic activity here] tonight, and [insert different academic thingy here] tomorrow night, and I still have to study for the SATs, the SAT IIs, and narrow down my college list, and [blah blah blah blah blah blah]"</p>
<p>However, having a relationship had an extremely bad impact on my wallet :(</p>
<p>I agree.. the consequenes dealing with relationships are much harder on your wallet than your academic activities, and ECs, and so on... (Insert anything here..)</p>

<p>haha it always comes down to financial stuff doesnt it? bt i think it's just a matter of what kinda person you are going out with and how you manage the relationship. i spend hardly any money on her and neither does she on me but we are both happy :)</p>
<p>Yes. I had one that lasted 2 years almost. He was sweet. I had a 2-week one after that, and he was annoying as hell!</p>
