<p>If my standardized test scores are too low for Dartmouth, will my essay and ECs be able to "balance" my overall application? I know Dartmouth looks very seriously about the SAT and ACT scores, but I seem to have bad luck with the standardized tests.</p>
<p>The adcom looks at prospective students holistically. However, it is very unlikely that one will be admitted if the scores are far below the accepted average.</p>
