Hi guys! I'm thinking about asking my math teacher to write a recommendation letter as I'm applying to business school, which I think should be more academically related. However, in my school, math grades are very much deflated, so I did not have a wonderful math grade; it is in fact, about the middle top of the class. Will this do any harm?

choose from among your core class teachers during the past 2 years the teacher who will give you the best recommendation. the subject of the class is less important than the strength of the recommendation. And although it’s important to choose teachers who have given you strong gratdes, there is more to it. the recommendation should ideally mention specific examples of how you stand out or go above and beyond.

thank you!
