A Riddle for Harvard Brainers

i think this problem begs the question why the hell are all these people in the same place to begin with? and what is so important on the other side of the river? why didnt they book a flight to cross? and what is the point of life?

see, not so simple after all.

I think these people should just stay where they are and be happy with it. Jeeze. Immigration is so overrated.

yeah ive done the robber and cop one

the trick is that people can go back across. (btw this isnt a spoiler, if you flipped to this second page, you could have easily seen the answer so its your fault if the riddle is ruined for you)

I seriously doubt the mere presence of the hunter would keep the lion at bay. Like a giant cat will behave itself because one of those tasty morsels has a shiny tube of metal? And what, the mother can't see what's going on across the river if the father tries something with the daughters?

Or if the mother tries something with the sons. :p
