No.

Chances are good for admission.

Oh okay, thanks randomgrandeur.

Other thoughts welcome too.

"Maybe even some money?"
Sorry, big No. BC only awards need-base with the exception of the Presidential Scholar, which is another field on to itself.

Your SAT is in the range of the HP, but being rank 15% in a class of 300 is drawback. I think you'll get in HP if you have a fantastic senior year.

Sounds good. I don't mean to sound annoying, please don't take it that way, but what qualifies as "need-base" for BC?

Also, I'm not exactly sure about the rank. I'm gonna find out from my GC this fall when I enter.
If I apply to the HC but I don't get in, would I still be considered for regular admission also?

if i remember right.. at BC you dont apply for the honors program. the honors program is the top 5% of the accepted class so thye notify you if you are accepted into the honors program i believe. i dont remember checking a box on my app or anything so i think thats the way it works.

need based is financial aid. you have to fill out a fafsa and a college board profile and a bunch of other forms. bc is not known for giving the best aid unless you are fairly low income. anyone middle-ish class and up dont get much of anything

Oh okay, thanks for clearing everything up beanieboo.

Do I have chances for just regular admittance then?

Any thoughts?

oh yeah you have a very solid chance of being admitted.. your course selection seems challenging enough and your SAT scores are a bit above the average except for the verbal. take it again if you feel its needed but i think you would be just fine. i think the only thing that could work against you is that you are from ny and its hardest to get in from ny/nj/mass. good luck.. you have great chances

I don't think you'll be admitted in Honors - but probably will be admitted otherwise. I know people with better stats than you who didn't get offered the Honors track. But you can meet with the Dean once you are accepted and try to lobby your way in - but it's not too likely
