In-state or out-of-state?

You should qualify for the University Freshman scholarship, but I’m not sure.

GPA is impressive. SAT is good enough to get admitted, but I’m not sure about a scholarship.

I’m also an IB Diploma candidate and top 5% of my class in the county, does that change anything?

If you are in-state you should qualify for the Freshman University Scholarship which awards you $1200 per semester. I do not know if that scholarship is offered to OOS students.

To be honest, we can only speculate. There is a “Tuition Reduction Scholarship” (how’s THAT for a literalist description) for out of state students that cuts your OOS tuition in half. Whether you get it probably just depends on how you fit into the pool of applicants.

Just apply, write a nice essay, and see what happens. Good luck!
