Do you have to send transcripts from previous colleges you attended to other colleges you apply to? i screwed up in my younger years at a community college and now i moved to another state and would like to enroll in a comm, college here. can i just pretend i never went or do they have some type of system that they check against?

why don't you just ask them, community colleges are pretty open with who they admit, so its better to be honest

and most are used to helping people that didn't have a nice and pretty college path

don't stress on it, just go and talk to a counselot there, they are generealyl very helpful at CommColleges and want students

Yes, you must send the transcripts from community college. You cannot pretend you never went. If you ever applied for financial aid, the colleges you're applying to now will know about it.

I believe there's also a clearinghouse that colleges can check.

You also have to get transcripts and recommendations from your high school GC and teachers. They won't lie for you.

Besides, you have to tell them something about what you did for those years. And they can also check on that.

Not worth the risk.
