<p>I am giving the sat reasoning test in december and the subject tests in Jan.Now the problem is that for most universities the application deadline is Jan 1st.So my qs is that would universities accept my subject test scores or not coz it will be released on the 15th Feb and will be most probably mailed to the universities on 1st march 2007.I ave tried contacting some universities in this regard but unfortunately failed to receive any reply.So can somebody please answer this qs for me.</p>
<p>Well depnding on where you live in the US and how far you are willing to travel......I pretty sure the apps for University of Arizona are not due till April 1st, so you might want to take a look there.</p>
<p>Have you thoroughly checked the websites of those universities? Frequently, in either the time lines or general instructions, schools will say what the last acceptable test dates are. If this information is readily available, I can understand their reluctance to spend the time to answer your emails. (I'm assuming you emailed, since you mention a lack of reply.)</p>

<p>I don't think any place would have any problem with your reporting the January scores as supplemental, updated information. They ask for midyear reports themselves. But if you have a school that requires subject tests, you may need to have taken them by the application deadline. This isn't always true (I know there are places where testing can take place after the ED/EA deadline, for instance).</p>
<p>In other words, you need to get this information out of your prospective colleges.</p>
<p>BTW there are a number of schools with application deadlines later than January 1.</p>
<p>You need to check with particular schools to which you are applying as to whether they accept the Jan scores and if you look hard enough on a school's website, you will usually find a schedule applicable to admissions that provides the deadline date and the last test date the school accepts (every school for which I have ever searched for this info has it on its site but it is not always easy to find). For those with Jan application deadline dates, you will generally find that essentially all accept Dec test scores but they vary as to the Jan test. Also, it is unlikely your test scores from Jan will be "mailed" on March 1 to most schools. What actually happens for most is that the College Board sends scores to a college electronically at a time agreed to by CB and the college and in many cases that will be very shortly after scores are released.</p>
