a small essay grammar question

Is it 3 months or three months? Thanks

three months when writing a formal ... thingy, for lack of a better word.

(someone correct me if i'm wrong. but i'm pretty sure i'm not)

It really doesn't matter, so long as your usage is consistent. If you write "3 months" in one sentence don't then go writing "three months" in another.

For formal essays, spell out numbers less than two digits.

Should one skip a line between paragraphs? For example, after the last sentence of a paragraph. Should it just be "Enter" or "Enter Enter"?

Ideally, you'd put it on the next line and indent, but sometimes that isn't possible. It's not too important.

Damn im in a big dilemma. I have 2 very short essays that I have to write. If i put them in one page, it goes over the next page by 3-5 lines. If i only put 1 on each page, they each only take up 40% of the page.

change the spacing?

is it better to crowd and crunch everything in 1 page or to space things out into 2?

Just change to a smaller font.

Just decrease the margins by a few millimetres; a smaller font might strain the eyes of the person reading.
